About the founder
Fatima Valdés founded her design studio in 2022. She dreamd building her own house to be able to create a cozy luxury home souranded from nature.
She divides her time between residential and commercial properties around the world. Creating work spaces that incorporate the future owners to create beneficial room concepts is essential for her. Moreover she combines luxurious italian designs with classic nordic design to create luxe well-being-places.
“Most of us spend almost all of our lives indoors, and two-thirds of that is in our homes,” says Fatima Valdés.
“Yet, very few of us consider the impact impeccable design could have on our well-being. My clients care more and more about the beauty and functionality of their work environment, too,” she says. “When developing my own new work space concept" told Fatima:
“I didn't want that it feel like an office, I wanted it to feel like a part of my home.”
As a certified project manager she began in 2016, working for a Berlin engineering company which realises construction projects throughout Germany and on request in many other countries.
She recognized after two years that in addition to a good project management, agil processes and the use of new technologies are important as well when building houses for the future. Therefore Fatima Valdés decided in 2018 to start working as a product owner in software development in order to apply agile project management, which today forms the hard skill basis for her successful project management.
Today she uses the principles of nature to inform the design process, incorporating living natural things into the home, drawing the outdoors in, and creating a sense of seamlessness between our inside and outside living spaces.
Fatima Valdés describes her process and philosophy as “Habitable”: highly textural, using palettes of neutral tones, and a mix of natural fabrics, stone, wood and metals.
